1992 Volkswagen T3 Kombi Syncro 16" Westfalia
Cool Swedish-sold VW T3 Syncro that has been converted to an Overland Camper.
This is one of the last T3 Syncro sold and therefore came with 16 inch rims. A very rare model that was only produced in approx. 2000 copies. The 16-inch cars were equipped with completely different trailing arms at the back with a longer wheelbase as a result, drive shafts, hubs, larger brakes, wider fenders, and different gearing in the gearbox and transfer case. This makes them particularly suitable for more off-road oriented driving and modifications.
This copy was sold new in southern Sweden and the first owner was an electricity company. Current owner has owned it since 2017 and during their ownership converted it to a camper with Westfalia interior.
The goal has been a self-sufficient adventure vehicle with good accessibility and the right piece. Among other things, you will find a working stove, sink and a refrigerator. With its 2.1L engine with diffrentials that drive all four wheels, this little bus can drive nearly everywhere.
